artwork Osborn/Central Ave is a standard street median light rail station consisting of an island platform in the median of Central Avenue just south of the intersection with Indian School Road, where one entrance is in the middle of the crosswalk. The southern end of the station leads to split crosswalks (separate traffic signals) to both sides of Central Ave alongside near Lexington Avenue. The stop has the standard three canopies providing shade along with the water fountain; some greenery is growing nicely inside them. It has red railings at the entrances along with the poles holding up the catenary system.
Public Art Program: Tapping Time by Thomas H. Sayre. It consists of engravings in the station floor of footprints that represent the fact waiting is part of life when riding transit.
