Dorsey Ln/Apache Blvd is a standard median light rail station located beyond downtown Tempe. The stops only legal entrance is from the east crosswalk of the intersection of Dorsey Lane with Apache Blvd. The other end of the platform just has an Area of Refuge - Emergency Use Only (but used by everyone) Diagonally across, NW of the station is a large park & ride lot. The platform has the standard three sections of sail-look looking platform canopies.

Public Art Program: The Space Between it is a collaborative project, including iconic hands that guard the station's only legal entrance, floor mosaics, and little mosaic model sculptures in the windscreens.
