The Link stop for Union Station/S 19th consists of an island platform with two tracks in the middle of Pacific Avenue. This platform has one entrance at its northern end at a pedestrian signal. This platform has a single slightly curved canopy and a few benches; one has a metal wheel in the middle of it. The main story of this station concerns the historic Union Station located just a tiny bit north of the Link Station. This station last saw train service in 1984. The building has been turned into the Tacoma Federal Courthouse and the atrium is open to the public during weekdays. It is also available for rentals.
