Exchange Place is a HBLR station in downtown Jersey City, with the connections to PATH at the station of the same name. The station served as the orignial northern terminus of the line when it opened in 2000. The station's platform layout is a bit unusual. The tracks are located on the west side of Hudson Street, in there own ROW. The main platform is an island platform inbetween the tracks with two canopies instead of just one like most platforms. There is also a side platform that Hoboken trains use (they open doors on both sides) that is basically the sidewalk rising up to HBLR's mini-high level, it has HBLR type lampposts on it but no canopied sturctures except for one at its nothern end with TVMs in it closest to the PATH Station.
