The Housatonic Railroad
The Houatonic Railroad is a short-line railroad in mainly Northwestern Connecticut. It operates two lines, one north-south from Pittsfield, Mass to Hawleyvile, Co, and one east-west from Beacon to Durby-Shelton via Danbury, and Hawlyfield (If only we could do a fan trip up to Beacon via MNR, across to Durby-Shelton or Danbury and back down to Grand Central via MNR.). I ran into a train in Danbury, when I was doing my New Haven Line Branches trip. (The log is here).
