The Revelers,2008
Glass Mosaic
By Jane Fickson

This artwork plays homage to the reason Times Square is known the world over, New Years Eve, with depictions of revelers celebrating the new year coming from all walks of life, wearing winter coats and holding noisemakers and the like. It is found on the walls of the tunnel beneath 41 Street and the deep underground mezzanine between the 1,2,3 and 7 trains with a few sneaking their way up the staircase to the upper mezzanine and on that level as well (all have been included on this webpage).
