These are dusty red propeller sculptures in the rafters of the ceiling above the Uptown local track beneath the upper level of the mezzanine. They are dusty, dark and hard to see (hence the terrible quality of the photos, everything is so dark), some of them still turn in the wind of arriving trains. The instalation came with lighting but the bulbs weren't ever replaced.
