69th is a standard Dan Ryan Line Station with an island platform. There is one exit at the north end has of the platform, where a staircase, up escalator and elevator opened on December 28, 2006 (history including photos of the renovations between 2005 and 2006) lead up to a small station house above the end of the platform nestled between the southside of 69th Street and a separate overpass for a bus loop.
CTA Arts in Transit Program: A Need to Remember by Preston Jackson, Bronze, stainless steel. There are figures along the platform.
