Galewood is a Milwakee West Line Station with two low-level side platforms for the line which has 3 tracks here, the middle track bypassing the station. The two two side platforms begin at the grade-crossing of Narragansett Avenue and run west, gently curving. Each platform towards it's eastern end has a small brick shelter structure with a grey gabled roof. Inside the shelter is seating for waiting passengers. The Inbound platform shelter is heated and has a door. The outbound platform has just a windscreen and is otherwise exposed. The north from Chicago platform is parrallel to McLean Avenue with a secondary entrance via a sidewalk from Nagle Avenue that also leads to a mid-platform grade-crossing. The south platform has a tiny ADA parking lot at it's eastern end with further parking in a small parking lot across Narragansett Avenue.
