Douglas St/Rosecrans Ave is located on a concrete ariel guideway above the underpass of Douglas Street that goes down below ground level to get beneath the freight track running at a grade that the Green Line is built above. The middle of this boulevard has a modern Metro station column. The platform has additional signs that says serves Continental Park. The station's island platform has a beam running down the middle of it with lighting protruding from it and a central canopied portion made of triangular glass beams. There are also much smaller canopies at either end where the station exits are down to each side of Douglas Street, with walkways leading down to the actual sidewalk on its underpass. The southern end to the southern side of the street is the more substantial exit with first a staircase/up escalator followed by an elevator at the extreme southern end of the station. The northern exit has just a staircase down to a little area in front of a fenced off danger high voltage substation before the more recently installed turnstiles followed by the TVMs and the street.
Artwork: Untitled by Renée Petropoulos is the staiton artwork, it consists of colorful medallions hanging from the elevated guideway. The stairs have various conjugations of the verb to be, along with the areas around each of the staircases. Eyes overlook both of the fences around the staircases down to street level and more.
