Avalon Blvd/I-105 is an elevated freeway median Green Line station with a single island platform directly above the underpass of Avalon Blvd. The platform has a black canopy for most of its length ending just before two elevators, one at each extreme end. These plus a staircase down to each side lead to seperate sets of turnstiles and exits to either side of Avalon Blvd, between 118th Street and 116th Place full of single family houses with the freeway cutting right through. There is a 263 space parking lot at the NE corner of the station nestled between the freeway and 116th Place.

Artwork: There are 3 different installations in the station; Bridge of Culture by Stanley Wilson, Protrate of my People #619 by Willie Middlebrook, and Pyramid by John Outterbridge
