Airtrain JFK-Station C: Federal Circle

Federal Circle is the station where connections are made to Shuttle buses to Airport Hotels, Rental Cars, and the cargo area. It is also the only Airtrain station that lacks an island platform. The station is on two elevated levels. This is due to the Jamaica Line and Howard Beach Line separating just beyond the station, the Howard Beach-bound track have to go under the Inbound track from Jamaica. This gives the station two elevated levels with inbound trains on the upper level, and Jamaica/Howard Beach-bound trains on the lower level. Escalators, stairs and elevators connect the top two levels with street level underneath. It also looks like that there could be provisions to add a third or forth track, and give the station one or two island platforms.

Normally trains have two cars only, this is the message saying to move down the platform to board the train.
